November Update…
November 24th, 2011I know I say this all the time but sho time is flying by or rather there’s so much that needs to get done that something like blogging gets left behind somewhere in the dust with the other stuff like looking after oneself. True?
A month to Christmas! The time everyone looks forward to. Businesses shut-down. Old and young get into the festive spirit. Schools close. Family start hinting at Christmas day activities. And yet for us it means extra busy roads, shops, activities and family obligations.
Anyhoo, that’s an update for December I think. Let’s reflect on the month that is just about to dissapear. November saw my dream of the pet expo happening in a flash. Crazy busy day running around all over putting out fires. Wind was howling terribly. But it went off and according to most they loved it. Now planning for 2012 already starts, no time to even just block out the trauma for a month. I’m excited but all over nervous, actually more so, now people have expectations.
Besides that what else, oh just boring business bookkeeping stuff that I had to catch up with. No fun at all. But a necessary evil.
After the expo was a bit of an anti climax so I’ve just been trying to chill and get healthy. Was hit hard by flu. Oh yes and I turned 33! Was suppose to be a huge day but I was sick and drugged up with flu meds and sort of was flying high. It was fun but not AS fun as I had hoped. Was a lovely day though and I was spoilt rotten with such lovely gifts and flowers and just seeing all the people I adore dress up all cutesy was really heartwarming.
I have realised how lucky I am being surrounded by wonderful friends and I’m getting to know my family better and letting them back in slowly to my life. This journey called life is sure a challenge, definitely not for the faint hearted.
