…and it’s only Saturday afternoon eeeeek!

I’ve been super busy this past week. So much so that each morning I would think sho it’s gotta be weekend already this week feels so long and then it wouldn’t be. Huge dissapoint. My weekend inevitably starts on a Friday, coz I make it so But there was no resting. Even earlier when I DID try force myself to rest, I couldn’t – hello Murphy!

So Friday morning I was woken up by my new housekeeper calling to see if I was still going to fetch her. Sleepy eyed I grunted yes and was up….armed with tackies this time, as the day befores running around was hindered by girly shoes. So 7:30am found me in ‘im going to work’ traffic, which I’m so blessed not to have to face daily. By 8am nanny in car we stopped at Spar for a few goodies and then swang by a client’s PA to pick up a cheque, who didn’t know I was coming…so dawdle much!

Once back home the flurry of comotion and dust and gadgets and splashes got a bit overwhelming making me feel dizzy or no was it hunger….breakfast first. Off I go to tackle was seemed like a ROOM full of ironing. Let’s say 3 weeks worth. That’s dizzying all on its own. But I started, one item at a time and 3 hours later I was done.

Then it was lunch. Cooked a full meal for nanny and I and sat probably for the first time that day, well since the car ride. Tummy full…more work no play I tackled my disheveled office…mostly full of hubby’s ’stuff’ Got rid of those unused items….well ‘moved to another room’ rather. Sorted through my ‘maybe it will fit me later’ box, hauling out a few items for nanny. Did a bit of expo work. Dashed downstairs to clean a few dirty treasures I bought on my latest trip. Did some diy aka used a paintbrush and plank to knock in two nails. Then finally got cracking on the event photoshoot editing.

In between I took nanny home, dashing through ‘get out of my way i’m going home’ traffic. Stopped off again at Spar for yummy treats aka favourite items for salad – pineapple and strawberries. mmmmm. And maybe a sinful treat or two as well – shhhhhh. Dashed back home to feed doggies and eventually feed myself, slip into something a little more comfortable (and warm) and put my feet up. Well for just as long as I could. I was soon up again looking for something to do, was I going mad. I was more energised at 7pm than at 8am that morning. So I tackled my horrid looking nails and gave myself a mani and pedi. ahhhh bliss. Nope still not sleepy enough I continued editing and finished that oh around 10pm. Fully watermarked and loaded. Impressive. Sleep came eventually.

This morning I awoke rather early, boohoo! Quick breakfast, checked the cloud cover and decided it’s a good morning for gardening. Got stuck into the dirt and grime. Did some paving. Deweeding – some of which was shockingly waist height tall already. Decorating. Poop scooping. Watering. Pup playing.

Finally, with aching back and fingers, all sweaty and grimy I had a blissful hot shower and lathered on some special body butter. OK perves…enough now

Lunch time…another amazing salad. That fresh pineapple is to die for, love it. Tele conference with expo partner. Did some photo stuff for mom in law birthday present. After 6 printouts finally got something that worked. Darn new printer drives me crazy. Went to watch some telly, zero to watch. Found something sort of watchable on laptop. Tried to sleep. Not happening. Back at pc fiddling with photo’s again. Busy updating all the house photoframes. And this is where I am right now thinking it was time to update my blog. Ok well I’m done now….blogging that is. I’m waiting for hubby to come home, he’s been away 3 days already and I actually miss him.

4pm…this weekend is but a baby…still many busy hours ahead! Signing off….Ciao

…i’m so tired right now lying in bed, snuggled under duvet, catching up online on the laptop. What a busy day, yesterday and today was. So much so that it feels like a whole week must surely have gone by, yet we are still at Tuesday. I’m not wishing time away, by no means, time flies by pretty fast all on its own. Just think that tomorrow, Wednesday, should be a holiday. I need to catch up on laziness, far too much productiveness these past two days.

The expo arrangements are going wonderfully. Sometimes I still cannot believe or comprehend that it’s something i’m working on. Something I am putting my name to. I’m ever so grateful to have a business partner who is on the ball, she’s doing one heck of a job. We have such wonderful all round support from media and pet lovers. Just wish the exhibitors wouldn’t keep us waiting in anticipation. They must hurry up and send their forms. Don’t they understand what they could be missing out on. LOL! Drove around today delivering posters and I must say I’m pleasantly surprised at all the pleasantness and enthusiasm.

Furthermore, what else. Usual stuff. Home chores. Mommy chores. Wifey chores. Admin chores. Then the endless diy to do list which I’m sure is about to haunt me.

Yawwwwwn…. ok I think I give up…early night? mmmmm yip
