Overdue Update

Thursday, June 30th, 2011

Well … at half way of the year and 2months last posting anything, I thought it was about time. So much has happened, as usual. It appears that my life will never slow down, although that’s ok, makes for interesting conversation….well those bits I want to share. Which brings me to so many things that has happened that I just don’t share with anyone. Maybe a close friend or two and definitely my husband, but most of our lives are kept very private. It’s the way I want it to be, but it leaves very little for when chit chat is required. Then we appear to be anti-social, which is just fine too, I’m only concerned about the wellbeing of my little family unit.

But let me see what I can share…uhmmmm, the Farm maybe, seeing as I loaded photo’s onto a public platform. Not many people know that we have bought a farm, again it’s how we planned it. And talk about planning it, we’ve been planning our whole lives and looking for a farm for over 2years. Even less people know that fact. Our plan was to move out there permanently but career and social pressures halted that temporary. But we are so very excited that for the past 2 months much progress has been made on building our mountain holiday cottage. As I type this my dear husband is out in the harsh winter rain and cold prepping to continue building tomorrow.

He has amazed me beyond my own belief. From an IT geek to Mr Builder. I’m very proud of what he has accoImplished in such a short span of time. He is “building” our little piece of heaven with only some Google advice, local workforce and a very helpful knowledgeable neighbour lending a hand now and then. We are grateful, so incredibly blessed to be able to do this. And our doggies are absolutely loving the wide open space and freedom to just run run run. We proudly bring you Pine Tree Hill. Has a charming ring to it. As far as I’ve seen there is just one pine tree on our entire section and on top of that it marks entrance to our driveway, which wasn’t even planned. It means something to us. It’s very special.

Furthermore, it was hubby’s 30th birthday and I went all out. Spoilt him with three big surprises. The main gift is an electric guitar, then a couples massage and finally a stunning cake made by me with a scale replica of his motorbike. He was so surprised, I was so excited to give him his gifts, I even woke him up real early. I couldn’t wait anymore as I had the gift for almost a month already. We took a beautiful drive on our bikes before we started fires and had fun with family and friends. Sadly many dissapointed us.

I’m currently working on yet another big project. It’s so exciting and I’ve teamed up with a lady that has no fear and no limits, which is exactly what I need to get this vision done. More on this later when we can finally launch the project to the public.

I’m neglecting my other project at the moment, Project 33, sad but I really am not motivated at the moment. Hopefully I will catch up soon.

Hopefully I will catchup with everything and everyone soon….
